After defeating Angers 2-0 at the Parc des Princes, PSG also received news about their potential Round of 32 opponent in the French Cup game to be played on Jan. 23. It will be one of Wasquehal or Pays de Cassel.

The French Football Federation held the draw of the French Cup round of 32 games on Sunday with all matchups getting decided for the games to be played on the weekend of Jan. 20 through Jan. 22. PSG will have to wait to know their final rival, although the Parisian club at least know it won't be Reims SA anymore.

Wasquehal defeated Reims on Wednesday as part of their postponed game (from November...) and they will face Pays de Cassel next for a place in the Round of 32 and a meeting with PSG on Jan. 23.

Reims SA (N3) and Wasquehal (N2) played their late match pertaining to the 8th round of the Coupe de France on Wednesday, behind closed doors, at Clairefontaine. After a 0-0 draw, Wasquehal qualified for the Round of 64 on penalties (4-2). Pays de Cassel will meet them this upcoming weekend.

PSG asked the FFF for a postponement of the Round of 32 game to Monday, Jan. 23 as Paris Saint-Germain will be playing a friendly in Saudi Arabia on Jan. 19 in which Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to make his debut. The FFF accepted the request earlier this week, allowing PSG to play on Monday instead of Fri/Sat/Sun as all other teams involved in the Round of 32 games.

After the concession by the FFF, PSG will play their cup match on Monday, Jan. 23, with the kick-off scheduled to take place at 8:45 PM CEST.

Whether their opponent is Wasquehal or Pays de Cassel, they'll be the club hosting the next round's game against PSG. They will have just over a week to know they have qualified and then organize everything to host PSG, as they'll need to find a proper stadium to host the Ligue 1 behemoths considering the rules in place for French Cup games.
