Paris Saint-Germain drop first points at home in 1-1 draw against Nantes

Following their mid-week Champions League defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, Paris is hosting Nantes for Matchday 13 aiming to bounce back and consolidate their spot at the top of the Ligue 1 McDonald's.
Gonçalo Ramos makes his return in the starting line-up, the Portuguese who missed three months of competition, will lead Paris' front line with Bradley Barcola and Kang-In Lee. The midfield is composed of Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz and Joao Neves.
Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi will occupy the fullbacks positions while the ppair Pacho and Marquinhos will be in charge to protect Gianluigi Donnarumma who's making his return in the starting line-up after watching Tuesday's defeat from the bench.

Achraf Hakimi fired Paris in front from close range after just two minutes of play. The Morocco international converted the first a Nuno Mendes' cross slightly deviated by Ramos.
A great start from Les Rouges et Bleus completely put Nantes on the back foot as they controlled the game in the first 10 minutes. An amazing close range save from Carlgren prevented Vitinha and PSG to take a two-goal lead (10').
The following 10 minutes, were very similar to the start of the game, Paris staying in complete control of the ball as Nantes sat deep in front of the box, Lee Kang-In (23') and Hakimi (24') came close to increase the lead but were respectively denied by the post and Nantes' goalkeeper.
Despite Luis Enrique's men control over the game, Matthis Abline put both teams level after a remarkable break as he disposed of William Pacho before putting the ball at the back of Donnarumma's net (38'). Antoine Kombouaré's side proved to be lethal, scoring on their only shot of the game. Just before half-time, Patrick Carlgren once again saved Nuno Mendes' attempt (45+1).
The second half of the game started with a completely new dynamic, as Nantes became more pressing on PSG, creating more chances off counterattacks. With 30 minutes remaining, Luis Enrique decided to make a change as Warren Zaire-Emery came on to replace Joao Neves.
Inside the last 20 minutes of the game, Luis Enrique tried to bolster his offensive line with Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué cocoming off the bench to replace Bradley Barcola and Lee Kang-In. Despite Paris dominance, Nantes stayed impermeable and secured a well-earned draw at the Parc des Princes.
Before tomorrow's huge fixture between AS Monaco and Marseille, Paris is now seven points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table.
Up next, Paris will travel to the Stadium Abbé-Deschamps to face Auxerre on Matchday 14 of the Ligue 1 McDonald's on December 6th.
