Paris Saint-Germain are about to face Portuguese giants Sporting Portugal with Nuno Mendes set to return to his former team at the Estádio José Alvalade on Matchday 7 of the Champions League group stage. The European Champions are sitting at the third spot of the table just three points ahead of their upcoming opponents and could almost sealed their spot in the knockout stage of the competition with a win.

Over the weekend, Les Parisiens secured a dominant 3-0 victory over Lille at the Parc des Princes as they bounced back from their shocking Coupe de France exit against city rivals Paris FC.
