PSG are preparing for another clash against their city rivals when they host Paris FC in the Coupe de France. The last time these two teams met (Sunday, 4th January), the French champions ran out 2-1 winners at the Parc des Princes courtesy of goals from Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé. Willem Geubbels equalised from the spot in the second half to set up a tense last 40 minutes before Dembélé scored just minutes later. Paris FC will believe they have a decent chance against their city rivals, as they gave a good account of themselves in the last encounter.
PSG are coming off the back of a Trophée des Champions win against fierce rivals Marseille (4-1) on penalties. Luis Enrique's side were moments away from losing before Gonçalo Ramos equalised in added time to make it 2-2. While the result wasn't the most important of the season, stopping Marseille from winning a trophy will delight PSG fans. PSG's league form is starting to improve as they have won four of their last five games. The only game they didn't win was a 1-0 loss against Monaco at the Stade Louis II. Les Parisiens were relatively comfortable in their last Coupe de France game, a 0-4 win against a fifth-tier side Vendée Fontenay Foot.

PSG team news:
PSG are dealing with several injuries and absentees ahead of the Paris derby on Monday. Matvey Safonov (hand), Lee Kang-in (thigh strain), Lucas Hernandez (illness), and Quentin Ndjantou (sore hamstring) are out with different injuries, while Achraf Hakimi and Ibrahim Mbaye won't feature as Morocco and Senegal progressed to the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations as hosts. Hakimi is the biggest loss out of the absentees, as he is arguably the best right back in the world.
Paris Saint Germain possible starting lineup:
Chevalier; Zaire-Emery, Marquinhos, Beraldo, Mendes; Mayulu, Vitinha, Ruiz; Doue, Ramos, Barcola.
Paris FC team news:
Paris FC have a depleted team ahead of the derby on Monday. Pierre Lees-Melou (knock) and Hamari Traore (knock) are on the treatment table while Ilan Kebbal (Algeria), Jean-Philippe Krasso (Ivory Coast) and Moses Simon (Nigeria) are at the AFCON. These absentees are going to make a difficult task even harder.
Paris FC possible starting lineup:
Trapp; Sangui, Mbow, Kolodziejczak, Otavio, Ollila; Gory, M. Lopez, Marchetti, Ikone; Geubbels.
Prediction: PSG 2-0 Paris FC
PSG should have too much firepower against a side struggling near the bottom of the Ligue 1 table. Despite this, Les Parisiens should not take their opponents lightly as derbies are great levellers. Paris FC will be encouraged by the last outing against the French champions a week ago.
