In their last competitive game of the year 2025, PSG will face fifth tier side Vendée FF in the Coupe de France Round of 64. Earlier this week, the European Champions defeated Brazilian side Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup final after a dramatic penalty shootout that have seen Matvey Safonov save four penalties. Luis Enrique lifted their sixth trophy of the year, showcasing their domination over European football.

Moreover, Warren Zaire-Emery will make his return to his usual midfield role, alongside two other "Titis", Senny Mayulu and Quentin Ndjantou. In the offensive line, Gonçalo Ramos, Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé will be the main source of danger for PSG.

Flamengo's starting XI: Noah Renou; Moisdin, Fromaget, Yanis Leriche, Bisleau; Brémond, Keita, Vinet; Millimono, Belbachir, Diawara.
PSG cruised past Vendée Fontenay to end the year on a high note
The first chance of the game was for PSG inside 10 minutes, however, Gonçalo Ramos' header did not find the target after a great move initiated by Ousmane Dembélé. After 20 minutes, Paris was dominating on the ball but failed to create any significant chances to score in this span against a well-organised and aggressive side who tried to leave no space in-behind while also trying to break forward every chance they got.
Nonetheless, Désiré Doué finally broke the deadlock in this game for PSG after a superb assist from Ousmane Dembélé (25'). Shortly, the 2025 Ballon d'Or made it 2-0 from the spot after a foul on Ramos in the box (34'). After 15 very encouraging minutes to open the game, Fontenay has been completely dominated by the European Champions, who took over as the hosts sat in front of their box to end the first half.
Ramos made it 3-0 at the start of the second half after a great collective effort from the European Champions (53'). Later, Ramos got himself a brace after a dramatic mistake from Fontenay's defence who gave the ball away (58'). With his second goal of the night, the Portuguese scored his ninth goal of the season.
The European Champions then comfortably saw out the game to claim another victory to end an extraordinary year on a high note.
Up next, PSG will host their close neighbour Paris FC in the Capital derby at the Parc des Princes on January 4th to start the second half of the season, just before facing Marseille in the Trophée des Champions on January 8th.
