PSG is preparing for another Ligue 1 matchup when they play Lille tomorrow night at the Parc des Princes. The French champions are fresh from a disappointing cup exit against city rivals Paris FC on Monday night. They lost 0-1 courtesy of a Jonathan Ikoné strike with 15 minutes left of the match. PSG had more possession and more shots on target, but couldn't finish the chances they had on the day. These two teams met eight days before Monday's cup clash in the league. On that occasion, Luis Enrique's side ran out 2-1 winners in a nervy encounter at the Parc des Princes.

Les Parisiens' next opponents, Lille, should not be taken for granted, as the last time these two teams met at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Les Dogues secured a hard-fought 1-1 draw. Lille are currently fourth in the table level on points with third-placed Marseille, who have also done relatively well this season. Lille must focus on the Europa League and finishing in a Champions League position, as they got knocked out of the French cup by Lyon on Sunday. If they progressed on Sunday, they could have made a deep cup run now that Luis Enrique's side is out of the competition. Lille's league form has also been great. Bruno Genesio's side has won four of its last five league games.

Prediction: PSG 2-1 Lille

It is difficult to imagine PSG losing as Les Parisiens hardly ever lose back-to-back games, and they will want to bounce back after the disappointment of Monday's result. Despite this, they need to play in first gear as Lille is a side that is capable of upsetting the French champions.
