Following their mid-week Champions League victory against Barcelona, PSG will travel to the north of France to face Lille at the Pierre-Mauroy Stadium in their last game before the international break.

Lucas Chevalier will face his former side for the first time since joining Paris Saint-Germain this summer in a €55 million move. For this game, Luis Enrique will once again have to do with a depleted squad with Joao Neves, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Fabian Ruiz and Marquinhos out injured while Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé are still recovering from their injuries.

Quentin Ndjantou, PSG Academy graduate will make his first start with the first team after coming off the bench in Paris' last two games, while Mayulu will slot in midfield with Gonçalo Ramos starting in the number nine position in a very rotated squad.

Paris Saint-Germain's starting XI: Chevalier; Pacho, Beraldo, Zaire-Emery, Hernandez; Kang-In Lee, Mayulu, Ndjantou; Barcola, Ramos, Mbaye.

Lille's starting XI: Ozer; Mandi, Ngoy, Meunier, Perraud; Bouaddi, Andre, Bentaleb; Haraldsson, Fernandez-Pardo, Giroud.

PSG held to frustrating draw against Lille

Against a very rotated side, Lille had a positive start, creating the first half chances in this game while Paris found themselves quickly on the back foot against a very well-organised side. After 15 minutes, Lille was mostly in control of the game, creating chances through long balls behind Zaire-Emery positioned as a right-back.

The visitors became increasingly more dangerous in the second part of the first half with opportunities for Lucas Hernandez and Mayulu occured despite not being significant. Bradley Barcola squandered a golden opporturnity to open the score just before halftime. The Frenchman found himself through goal after a fastbreak but his effort went wide of Ozer's left post. The momentum of the game shifted and the first half ended with Les Rouges et Bleus taking control of the game.

10 minutes into the second half, Bradley Barcola had another opportunity to open the score but a superb save from Ozer prevented him from scoring his fourth goal this season. With 30 minutes remaining, Luis Enrique decided to bring in Vitinha, Nuno Mendes and Achraf Hakimi. And these changes made an instant impact as substitute Nuno Mendes scored a remarkable free-kick to give the lead the European Champions (66'). His stunning strike put the hosts in a comfortable position for the last 25 minutes of the game.

In the dying embers of the game, substitute Ethan Mbappé drew both sides level setting up a thrilling end to this game (85'). The former PSG Academy players scored his second goal this season.

Following the international break, Paris Saint-Germain will face third-placed Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes on October 17, before facing Bayer Leverkusen on Matchday 3 of the Champions League on October 21.
