PSG vs Lille: Predicted lineup for Ligue 1 clash

Coming off a very disappointing 1-0 loss against their city rivals Paris FC in the Round of 32 of the Coupe de France, Paris Saint-Germain will now have an opportunity to bounce back as they host Lille at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 18 of Ligue 1 McDonald's. In the reverse fixture, Les Dogues secured a last minute draw thanks to Ethan Mbappé's late strike.

Ahead of this difficult matchup, Luis Enrique knows that his side is not having a great run of form and will have to do without several players such as Matvey Safonov, Kang-In Lee, Joao Neves and Quentin Ndjantou who are recovering from injuries. Meanwhile, Achraf Hakimi and Ibrahim Mbaye are representing Morocco and Senega respectively in the AFCON as they are set to face off in the final of the competition.

Here is Les Parisiens' predicted starting XI against Lille.

PSG Predicted Lineup vs. Lille (4-3-3)

GK: Lucas Chevalier - The French international has been impressive against Marseille in the Trophée des Champions and the same level of performance will be expected of him as PSG are set to face his former side.

RB: Warren Zaire-Emery - The PSG Academy graduate has been incredible since the beginning of his spell at the right-back position becoming a key element of Luis Enrique's team this season.

CB: Marquinhos - After missing the Coupe de France loss against Paris FC, the club captain should make his return to the starting lineup and partner Pacho.

CB: Willian Pacho - The Ecuador international has played a lot of games recently and could be rested for the upcoming Champions League game next week. However, he should be present in the starting lineup next to Marquinhos.

LB: Nuno Mendes - The Portuguese should be the one starting against Lille as PSG look not only to bounce back from their Coupe de France exit but also to put pressure on RC Lens in the Ligue 1 table.

CDM: Vitinha - PSG's maestro will once again lead his side into this game as they look to bounce back from their shock Coupe de France loss.

CM: Fabian Ruiz - The Spaniard who is close to extend his contract with the club should start this upcoming against Lille.

CM: Senny Mayulu - With Joao Neves' injury, Mayulu could be the one partnering Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha in midfield.

RW: Désiré Doué - The French Golden Boy will start against Lille, however, he could be starting in midfield with Barcola starting next to Dembélé and Kvaratskhelia.

LW: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - The Georgian star will start against Lille and will likely play a key role for his team.

ST: Ousmane Dembélé - The 2025 Ballon will lead the line against Lille as he looks to continue on his scoring form since the beginning of the year.
