The January transfer window is well underway and there is plenty of rumours, news and updates regarding PSG's potential moves, whether it is incoming or outgoing. Here are all the information available on January 10th.
Incoming moves: News, Rumours and Updates
The hottest topic at the moment regarding potential PSG signing is without a doubt the one about Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the SSC Napoli star is heavily linked with a move during this window. The PSG are the frontrunners to sign the winger and a €80 million fee is expected to be enough to convince Aurelio De Laurentiis to part ways with the Georgia international. However, Liverpool and Man United are in the race, hoping to hijack the move and attract the winger to the Premier League. More details are available on PSG Post here.
Paris is also linked to another SSC Napoli player as they reignated their interest for Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian star who is on loan at Galatarsaray is said to be one of PSG's top priorities with Kvaratskhelia in January, according to Sky Sport Germany. The move seems tricky for Paris due to Osimhen's situation but the Nigeria international has a clause in his contract allowing him to leave in January.
Abdukodir Khusanov was linked with a move to PSG before the start of the transfer window, the RC Lens centre back showed all his potential this season and was reported to be on the move away from Lens who are expecting a big fee for the player. However, it now seems sure that the player will sign for Guardiola's Manchester City this winter for a move valued to be around €40-50 million.
Looking to bolster their offensive line, Luis Campos and Nasser Al-Khelaifi are interested to sign Jhon Duran. The Colombia international and Aston Villa is in fantastic form this season, sparking interest from many big clubs in Europe. Nonetheless, the 21-year-old sees his contract running until 2030 with the Villans and the French champions would need to pay a big fee to Unai Emery's club for them to accept to sell one of the most prized striker in Europe. In the summer, Monchi, Aston Villa sporting director revealed that "40 clubs wanted to sign Jhon in the summer". The striker is now valued at €40 million by Transfermarkt and sees clubs like Barcelona, Man United and Bayern Munich showing interest.
Outgoing moves: News, Rumours and Updates
Randal Kolo Muani's exit from PSG near. The player who signed for Paris just 18 months ago for €90 million from Frankfurt fell out of favor with Luis Enrique and will leave the club in January. The France international is linked with move to Tottenham, Man United and to Serie A giant Juventus, all teams opened talks with Paris and the player hoping to seal the deal by the end of the week. Many sources put the player closer to Juventus as the player seems to favour a move to Serie A. The move for the Frenchman is set to be a loan, though Paris' board is looking for an obligation to buy clause while interested teams want an option to buy clause only.
Milan Skriniar is the second PSG player that received an exit card from the club. The Slovakia international has been linked to move to Galatasaray, and Premier League clubs Tottenham and Aston Villa most recently. Both Premier League sides are looking to strengthen their depleted backlines. A loan move is the favoured option for both sides. The 29-year-old has also been included by PSG into their offer for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Napoli, but the offer failed to satify the Italian club. The former Inter Milan player is valued at €35 million by Transfermarkt. Skriniar is expected to find an exit by the end of this week or early next.
The last player who looks to exit the French champions is Marco Asensio. The former Real Madrid player completely disapeared of Luis Enrique's rotation and is now frustrated by his lack of minutes at the club. Les Parisiens are then now ready to listen to offers for the Spaniard, their asking price is between €25-30 million. La Liga rivals Real Sociedad and Real Betis are said to be interested by the Spain international, though, they will most likely only pursue a loan deal for him. Furthermore, according to RMC Sport, Aston Villa is also interested by the player to sign him this January, while the club is interested in Duran. Paris will not stand in Asensio's way and will try to facilitate a deal even if it is a loan whwhich would allow them to look for a more permanent solution in the summer.
