PSG transfer news & rumours: Maghnes Akliouche joins PSG from AS Monaco

Maghnes Akliouche has officially joined Paris Saint-Germain from AS Monaco following a €50 million (including add-ons) move. The France international player who represented his country at the 2026 World Cup will come to bolster PSG's offensive options following the numerous departures in this sector this summer. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder will has signed with the club until 2031 and will wear the number 11 with his new club.

Furthermore, with the prospect of losing both Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye, his addition will likely be crucial next season even with the possible arrival of Ajax Amsterdam youngster Mika Godts.

PSG and Liverpool expected to reach an agreement for Bradley Barcola

The future of Bradley Barcola in the French capitol has been the biggest talking point this summer for PSG. His role at the club has considerably changed since the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the club as he became a second option. This situation led him to refuse any contract extension offers from the club and with only two years left (2028) on his current contract, he will likely leave this summer with both Liverpool and Arsenal showing interest.

The Reds are the frontrunners for the player and have already opened talks with the back-to-back Champions League winners, who are reportedly expecting around €170 million for the France international.

The Merseyside club, however, are reportedly not looking to spend more than €120 million for the 23-year-old winger. These negotiations should not be resolved quickly but nonetheless, both sides who have a good relationship are confident to reach an agreement for this transfer before the end of the window.

Many suitors for Ibrahim Mbaye

The future of Ibrahim Mbaye is also in the balance as he is looking to get more regular minutes at the highest level. The 18-year-old is still under contract until 2028 with PSG and his minutes are not about to improve with the European Champions next season. While the option of a loan was explored, it now seems clear that the Senegalese will leave on a permanent move this summer.

Many suitors are interested in signing him as he has a massive potential with Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester City in the Premier League and Bayern Munich, Dortmund and RB Leipzig in Bundesliga. With the sale of Yan Diomande to Real Madrid, Leipzig have increased their interest but it is both Liverpool and Dortmund who leading the race for the winger.

Ferran Torres on his way to Paris?

According to several reports from Spanish medias, 2026 World Cup winner Ferran Torres made the decision to leave FC Barcelona this summer and join PSG. His contract is set to expire at the end of the 2026-2027 season and he should not extend his contract with the Blaugrana. Luis Enrique's presence at the club played a major role in this decision.

Both sides will start negotiating shortly to find an agreement for this move.
