It is therefore the perfect time to deliver our end of season awards for PSG players.
Paris Saint-Germain's end of season awards
Best Ligue 1 Player of the Year: Vitinha
The Portuguese was the best player of the team in Ligue 1. While Ousmane Dembélé was awarded the trophy by the UNFP, he only played 22 games, most coming off the bench and contributed for 10 goals and six assists only.
On the other hand, the 27-year-old is the maestro of the team, making them as dominant as they are. He played 28 games and was determinant in several situations. This is why Vitinha is the best Ligue 1 player of this team.
Best Champions League Player of the Year: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
The Georgian star was the biggest weapon of the team in the knockout stage of the Champions League being decisive at every single game. He ended the European campaign with 10 goals and six assists in 15 games.
He terrorised every defences in the tournament and lead the team to back-to-back Champions League title.
Best Young Player of the Year: Warren Zaire-Emery
Warren Zaire-Emery has been simply extraordinary this season. He was in a difficult situation at the start of the season following his underwhelming 2024-2025 campaign. However, he managed to become a crucial piece of Luis Enrique's system this season at two different positions such as right-back and midfielder.
He made Achraf Hakimi and Fabian Ruiz's absences almost irrelevant keeping his team at the top of their game. The real surprise was not seeing start the Champions League final.
Biggest surprise of the Year: Lucas Beraldo
At the start of the season, the Brazilian seemed out of the rotation, playing only scarcely while being in several transfer rumours. He managed to completely change the narrative, reinventing himself as a defensive midfielder and delivering many incredible performances. He should now be an integral part of the team and rotation as he became a solid option behind Vitinha.
Biggest flop of the Year: Lucas Chevalier
The Frenchman came from Lille at the beginning of the season following Gianluigi Donnarumma's departure with a lot of expectations as many hoped he could become PSG's first-choice goalkeeper for the a long time.
Unfortunately for him, the 2024-2025 Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the season has been disappointing and failed to have a positive impact on the team. The light seemed way too bright for him in the French capital as he also looked lost within the squad. In the end, Matvey Safonov, the second-choice goalkeeper stepped up as number one and played a massive role in the Champions League victory.
