PSG play the biggest game of their season against Arsenal on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Both sides are fresh off a victory this past weekend with the Gunners winning 4-2 at home to Leicester City and Les Parisens victorious against Stade de Rennes.

There will be many exciting duels in this enthralling encounter because of the quality of players that will be on display.

Here at PSG Post, we discuss where the game will be won and lost. Let's get into it.

Where Arsenal vs PSG will be won and lost

1. The midfield battle

Martin Odegaard and Mikel Merino are ruled out through injury but the Gunners still have a midfield that will ask the French champions plenty of questions.

The likes of Declan Rice, Thomas Partey, and Jorginho are more than capable of holding their own against Warren Zaire Emery, Joao Neves, and Vitinha.

Neves and Zaire-Emery's inexperience could easily get the better of them on the day as they aren't used to playing in such a high-stakes game.

We can expect an intense midfield battle as Zaire Emery and Neves have fearlessness beyond their age. The team whose midfield plays better on the day may well go on to win the game.

2. Arsenal defence vs PSG's attack

The Gunners arguably have the best defence in not only the Premier League but in Europe. William Saliba has improved drastically during his second spell at Arsenal alongside Gabriel who has been equally as good.

Tottenham and Man City found it difficult to break down a resilient defence that has only gotten better throughout the season. Scoring against Mikel Arteta's side will only be harder without Ousmane Dembele but Bradley Barcola and Kolo Muani have shown they can find the back of the net this campaign.
