PSG have unveiled the 21 players selected for the UEFA Champions League match against Girona. Five absences are noted in the squad called up by Luis Enrique, though he welcomes back two key players.
PSG make their return to the Champions League this Wednesday evening against Girona, and Luis Enrique has summoned a squad of 21 players for the occasion.
In addition to the long-term absences of Presnel Kimpembe, Lucas Hernandez, and Goncalo Ramos, two expected withdrawals have been confirmed: Gianluigi Donnarumma, who suffered a thigh injury against Brest, is ruled out, while young striker Ibrahim Mbaye (16 years old) is suspended due to a red card he received in the Youth League back in December 2023.
Among the rest of the squad, the return of Vitinha and Warren Zaire-Emery stands out. Both players were injured during the international break with their respective teams and were rested for the match against Brest last Saturday.
Regarding younger players, three have been included in the squad for PSG vs. Girona: full-back Yoram Zague (18), versatile midfielder Senny Mayulu (18), and goalkeeper Louis Mouquet (20). Naoufel El Hannach, who was called up against Brest, has returned to the youth team and will feature in PSG's U19 match against Girona at 3 p.m. in the Youth League.
