PSG's situation

After beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 on the first date of the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League, PSG returns in good spirits to Ligue 1 activity. The Parisians will face Le Classique after having fallen to OGC Nice at home on the last matchday. It is likely that Luis Enrique will make some rotations, considering that a week after this match they will face Clermont away from home, and four days later visit Newcastle United, as part of matchday 2 of the UCL.

There is uncertainty around the attacking front that the Spanish coach could choose for this match, considering the lack of effectiveness of Ousmane Dembele, and the feelings left by both Goncalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani, also without being able to score (the latter already with an assist).

Marseille's situation

The current situation at Olympique de Marseille is quite sad. After its president, Pablo Longoria, and its coach, Marcelino, resigned as a result of very serious threats they received from the Ultras (radical fans) of OM, the Marseille team drew 3-3 against Ajax in the UEFA Europa League. This match was a recital of goals, but also defensive errors.

Considering this, and also the fact that the match is being played in the Parc des Princes, it is more than likely to be an intense match, in a bad sense, for Marseille.

PSG and Marseille predicted lineups

PSG's predicted starting XI vs. Marseille: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos, Skriniar, Hernandez – Zaire-Emery, Ugarte, Vitinha – Barcola (or Dembele), Kolo Muani (or Ramos), Mbappe.
