With the World Cup entering its final two weeks of play and multiple players not called up for international duty, PSG will be returning to Camp des Loges on Wednesday, Dec. 7, to start working in preparation for the second half of the season.
There will be international games until December 18th when the World Cup final will take place in Lusail, Qatar.
There is a large chance of at least one PSG international performing in the final game, so Paris Saint-Germain's staff will have to wait two more weeks before welcoming all of their players back to the training ground.
PSG will resume official competition with a Ligue 1 game next Dec. 28 hosting Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes as part of Match Day 16. Before that, Paris Saint-Germain will face Paris FC (Dec. 16) and Quevilly (Dec. 21) in two friendly matches.
Even with the official return date to training pushed back to Wednesday, multiple players from PSG are already training at Camp des Loges, such as Presnel Kimpembe, Fabian Ruiz, and Hugo Ekitike. The rest of the squad must report by Wednesday without failing at it.
PSG players not in Qatar will rejoin the team on Wednesday; World Cup participants will come back once eliminated
Some of the players not on international duty that belong to PSG's first team include the likes of Marco Verratti, Sergio Ramos, Juan Bernat, Gigio Donnarumma, Sergio Rico, Nordi Mukiele, and Renato Sanchez.
They will be joined by youngsters that have already gone on trips with the first team and appeared in games, including El Chadaille Bitshiabu, Ismael Gharbi, and Warren Zaire-Emery.
Players with international caps at the Qatar World Cup that have already been eliminated, such as Keylor Navas, will slowly but surely make their way back to Camp des Loges days after their nations were or get eliminated in future matches.
That latter case is the one of Danilo Pereira and Nuno Mendes, both still in Qatar with Portugal but not expected to play in any further games after suffering injuries (broken ribs, injured thigh respectively) that will see them out of competition until January and February.
All games played in December will be hosted by Paris Saint-Germain, including both friendly matches and the lone "Boxing Day" matchup against Strasbourg at the end of the month.
