PSG are reportedly considering a move for a Manchester City superstar, but Real Madrid remain on alert as well.

Erling Haaland, the Norwegian sensation leading Manchester City’s frontline, has become one of the most talked-about names in football.

Should the looming sanctions on the Premier League champions materialise, Real Madrid and PSG are reportedly ready to make a move for the lethal striker.

Haaland's arrival at Manchester City in the summer of 2022 was the final piece in the puzzle for Pep Guardiola, who had already built a footballing dynasty in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old forward has been nothing short of a revelation, breaking goal-scoring records with ease and establishing himself as one of the most feared attackers in the game.

It’s no surprise that Haaland has attracted interest from numerous clubs, despite turning down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia, where clubs were eager to offer him astronomical wages.

However, Real Madrid’s interest remains strong, and they could be eyeing Haaland as a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.

According to TEAMtalk (h/t Fichajes), Manchester City’s potential breaches of Financial Fair Play regulations – referred to as the "trial of the century" – could push Haaland towards the exit door.

Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be monitoring the situation closely. With Haaland contracted to City until 2027, any transfer would involve significant negotiations.

City are, however, keen to protect their prized asset and are reportedly working on securing a new contract for Haaland.

A release clause of around €120 million has been discussed, a sum that would not deter financially powerful clubs like Real Madrid or PSG. Barcelona, on the other hand, might struggle to compete in such a high-stakes bidding war due to their ongoing financial constraints.
