France 2-1 Brazil
France came out victorious in their clash against Brazil, thanks to goals from two former PSG players, Kylian Mbappé and Hugo Ekitike. Ousmane Dembélé who featured 58 minutes on the pitch delivered a sublime assist on Mbappé's opener. He was subbed off following Dayot Upamecano's red card and appeared to be slightly injured when leaving the pitch which worried PSG fans. Russia 3-1 Nicaragua
Matvey Safonov and Russia easily defeated Nicaragua in a friendly. Both sides are not qualified for the upcoming World Cup with Russia barred from all competition. Safonov started the game but was replaced after 67 minutes as his side cruised to victory.
Morocco 1-1 Ecuador
Both Achraf Hakimi and Willian Pacho played 90 minutes as Morocco secured a late draw against Ecuador with Hakimi delivering an assist in the dying minutes of the clash. Both sides are already qualified for the World Cup and are ramping up their preparations with friendlies.
Ukraine 1-3 Sweden
Ukraine and Illia Zabarnyi faced Sweden in a crucial World Cup Qualifying Playoff match and Viktor Gyokeres' dominated their opponents, led by an hat-trick of the Arsenal striker. Zabarnyi and his teammates had a difficult game and will miss the World Cup. The PSG centre-back was not at his best to help his country to reach this summer's competition.
Georgia 2-2 Israel
In his first game as Georgia's new captain, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia delivered an outstanding performance as he scored two goals against Israel. However, it was not enough to secure victory as the visitors came back from a two-goal deficit to snatch a draw in this friendly. "Kvara" played all 90 minutes of the game.
