March international break: All PSG players called-up for national team duty

17 PSG players have been called up by their national teams for the March international window.

After their dominant 4-0 thrashing of Nice over the weekend, several PSG players have now joined their respective national teams for the last international window before the 2026 World Cup. Most of the players are set to play friendlies to prepare for the competition while Ukraine and Illia Zabarnyi are set to play at least one crucial Play-off game to qualify for the World Cup.

All PSG players called-up for international duty

In total four PSG players will feature for Portugal in the upcoming March international break. Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, Joao Neves and Gonçalo Ramos will face two of the hosts countries of the next World Cup in Mexico on March 29th and the United States on April 1st. While Neves missed PSG's last league game against Nice, he is expected to take part in those two games.

As for France, Didier Deschamps called up five players from PSG with Lucas Chevalier, Lucas Hernandez, Warren Zaire-Emery, Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé. Bradley Barcola has missed on the last list before the World Cup due to his recent ankle injury sustained in the 3-0 away win against Chelsea in the Champions League. Meanwhile, Dembélé and Doué make their return with the national team. Les Bleus will face Brazil on March 26th and Columbia on March 29th.

Carlo Ancelotti called up Marquinhos for Brazil's next two friendly games against France (March 26th) and Croatia (April 1st). The former Real Madrid coach also decided to do without PSG legend Neymar Jr. for these two games.

Matvey Safonov and Russia will play two friendlies and face Nicaragua and Mali respectively on March 27 and March 31.

As for Willian Pacho, he will feature with Ecuador in their next two friendlies as they are stepping up their preparations for the upcoming World Cup. They will face Morocco and Achraf Hakimi on March 27 before facing Netherlands on March 31. Hakimi and Morocco will then face Paraguay in their second friendly of the window on March 31.

Kang-In Lee will fly out to join Korea Republic in two friendlies as they ramp up their preparations for the World Cup. They will face Ivory Coast on March 28 and Austria on March 31.

Despite his reduced role with Paris since coming back from AFCON, Ibrahim Mbaye has been called up by Pape Thiaw for Senegal's next two friendlies against Perou and Gambia on March 28 and March 31.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will lead Georgia in their next two friendlies as they are set to face Israel and Lithuania.

Illia Zabarnyi and Ukraine will face Sweden in a crucial Play-off clash on March 26. If they defeat their opponents, they will face the winner of the clash between Poland and Albania on March 31 for a spot in the 2026 World Cup.
