PSG are gearing up for their ninth Ligue 1 game of the season when they visit 12th placed Brest. The French champions were emphatic in their midweek Champions League game against Leverkusen in Germany.

They ran out 2-7 winners in a pulsating clash courtesy of goals from Willian Pacho, Désiré Doué (brace), Khvicha, Nuno Mendes, Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha. Both sides were down to ten men before the end of the first half as Illia Zabarnyi (PSG) and Robert Andrich (Leverkusen) were sent off. This was a much needed confidence booster for Luis Enrique's side as they had drawn there last two league games against Strasbourg and Lille. These results have left the European champions a point behind Marseille at the top of Ligue 1's summit.

Brest were no strangers to PSG last season having played them twice in the Champions League knockout rounds and twice in the league. They lost 0-3 in the first leg and 7-0 in the second leg.
