PSG's third Champions League game this season is a relatively tough one against Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen. While it is not the same Leverkusen side that went the whole league campaign unbeaten under Xabi Alonso, it is still a side that can pose problems on there day.

Leverkusen were involved in a seven goal thriller on the weekend when they beat Mainz 4-3 at the Mewa Arena. The result has left them a point behind Borussia Dortmund who lost 2-1 against Bayern Munich on the same day. The win was much needed as they have dropped unnecessary points this season against the likes of Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim. They also took a point in their first Champions League game this campaign at home to PSV.

Luis Enrique side need to get back to winning ways as they have drawn their last two league games against Lille (1-1) and Strasbourg (3-3). Les Parisiens also know any points dropped against Leverkusen could be detrimental as they still have fixtures against Bayern Munich (home), Tottenham (home), Athletic Bilbao (away) and Newcastle United (home). They won their last Champions League game against Barcelona in Spain which was remarkable considering they were missing several key players through injury.

Here is our preview of Leverkusen vs PSG for matchday 3 of this season's Champions League campaign.
