PSG play the biggest game of their season when they come to Merseyside next week Tuesday. They have got a 0-1 deficit to turn around from the first leg in Paris. Despite losing on the day Luis Enrique will be encouraged by the fact they managed to carve Liverpool open on several occasions.

What was missing from that game is a clinical number nine who could put away the chances they had missed. This has been the story of PSG's Champions League campaign this season. In spite of this here at PSG Post we discuss why they can turn things around in the second leg at Anfield.

They had their fair share of chances

PSG could have easily scored three goals in the first leg had they had a clincial number nine. Luis Enrique should know now more then ever that a false nine may not always work. If he opts for a false nine again then he risks a repeat of the first leg whereby the team spurns a hatful of chances. The most notable chance was when Dembele was denied in the six yard box by Alisson and Bradley Barcola couldn't put in the rebound in the 30th minute. Another great chance arrived moments later when the Brazilian goalkeeper did well to produce a save from Khvicha.

They have the quality to pose a problem

The French champions have players that can cause Liverpool problems at Anfield despite having the huge task of needing a two goal win to avoid extra time. Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola are having the best seasons of their careers despite not being clinical in the first leg. Vitinha and Joao Neves showed they are great technical players when they came up against Liverpool's midfield in the first leg. PSG's defence kept Mohammed Salah quiet in the first leg despite a lapse in concentration for the Harvey Elliot goal from Alisson's goal kick.

Les Parisiens can learn from their mistake

The French champions know that in the second leg there is minimal room for error. Luis Enrique must now be aware that he can't afford to play a high line as they can get done in transition. All it takes is just a ball over the top for a team to bypass their high line providing they can stay onside. Enrique must also be bold enough to try Goncalo Ramos as the interchangeable wingers didn't work in the first leg and he will provide a different option.
