Champions League PSG vs Liverpool, Player ratings:
5 - Donnarumma
The Italian had an easy night against Liverpool but ended up conceding a goal at the end of the game. This was a defining moment for the keeper but his hand was not strong enough to save Harvey Elliott's strike.
6 - Hakimi
The Morocco international was involved in many chances created by his side, combining with Dembélé and Kvaratskhelia on his wing. Defensively, the fullback was not in danger and dealt with Diaz easily on Liverpool’s few counterattack opportunities.
6 - Pacho
The centre had a solid game, though he was not tested much in this game, he dealt with Liverpool's few chances, stopping Salah and Diogo Jota numerous times.
7 - Marquinhos
Marquinhos is in the best form of his career. His partnership with Pacho is amazing and is a huge part of PSG's success. He also cut many embers of break opportunity for Liverpool.
5 - Nuno Mendes
His game was almost perfect. The Portuguese international delivered an elite performance against Salah who he kept was quiet tonight until his substitution at the 85th minute. However, his loss of focus cost his side, allowing Elliott to be completly unmarked on his goal.
7 - Vitinha
Solid game from the Portuguese, unfortunately it was not enough to help his side to win this game.
6.5 - Joao Neves
Good game from Neves in a game largely dominated by his side, the Portuguese' offensive presence faded in the second half.
6 - Fabian Ruiz
Good game from the Spaniard who played an important role in Paris' midfield balance tonight.
8 - Kvaratskhelia
The best player on PSG's side. The Georgian star delivered an exceptional performance against Liverpool but unfortunately saw many of his shots saved by an incredible Alisson.
7.5 - Ousmane Dembélé
An amazing outing for Dembélé. The 27-year-old was a poison for Liverpool’s defense, wreakin havoc on Robertson's side. However, he wasted to many occasions that could put his side ahead in this game.
7- Bradley Barcola
Solid game from Barcola. The winger created many chances and came close to opening the score many times but was denied by Alisson. The biggest talking point of the night will undoubtedly be his contest with Ibrahim Konaté. Liverpool’s French centre back appeared to have fouled Barcola just outside the box which could have resulted in a red card, changing the dynamic of the game.
