After their back-to-back Champions League title, numerous PSG players flew out and joined their national teams ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup that will take place in Mexico, Canada and the United States.
One of these players is Bradley Barcola, and the Frenchman could be playing more than the global tournament as he could also be on the move from the French capital during the competition. The 23-year-old who scored 11 goals in 29 Ligue 1 games this season remains an incredible talent and an important piece of Luis Enrique's system. However, he has failed to gain a regular spot in the starting lineup of the European Champions, failing to start any key Champions League games from the quarter-finals as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué were the preffered options next to Ousmane Dembélé.
Therefore, his future could be away from Paris as he also dreams to play in the Premier League in his career.
Why Bradley Barcola could be set for a move away from PSG this summer?
Despite his talent, he is not a starter in Luis Enrique's team
Bradley Barcola is a remarkable talent, his ability to dribble past his opponents combined with his pace are quite simply lethal. Unfortunately, he has struggled to convert many of his chances with a high number of wasted opportunities. Though, he has already improved in this area, he has a long way to go to reach the level that should be his.
With PSG he faces Kvaratskhelia at the same position and is far from his level at the moment. Despite all his efforts, it will be very difficult to get in front of the Georgian in the rotation while Désiré Doué who features primarily on the right wing seems locked in his role.
The club is looking to recruit at his position next summer
Another factor that could end Barcola's tenure at the club is that PSG are currently looking to improve their offensive options with rumours surrounding RB Leipzig Yann Diomandé and Atlético Madrid's Julian Alvarez. The arrival of one or both of these players will undoubtedly limit Bradley Barcola's minutes with PSG which could then push him out the door.
At this stage, it would be completely shocking to see Luis Enrique bench either Kvaratskhelia or Dembélé. Barcola who is already the least used player of their front three will likely be the one sacrificed for them alongside Gonçalo Ramos, Ibrahim Mbaye and Kang-In Lee.
Now, it is reported that both Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing the France international winger, though, PSG could be asking for a high transfer fee for a player who remains a big talent with almost lmitless potential.
