The game is important for both sides as they both need a point to progress to the next round of the tournament. Despite this PSG should still try and win to build good habits ahead of the next phase of the competition. A win could also help them if the next stage requires seeding to decide what teams will play each other. Third win in a row in the Champions League

If the French champions win on Wednesday it would be their third win in a row in this tournament which is a solid foundation to build from for Luis Enrique and his team. It would undoubtedly be a good way to progress from such a difficult round of Champions League group phase fixtures. This would especially be the case as they had lost to Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich earlier in the competition which has quickly put their chances of qualifying in the balance.
