Maxwell joined the club in 2012 from FC Barcelona and became an important player at the club during his five-year spell at the club. Though the player will not end as one of the best in the club's history, Paredes became an important figure of the club during 4-year spell at the club. The Argentine international joined the club from Zenith St-Petersburg in 2019 and was a rotation player mostly at the begining of his tenure at the club. It was during the Final 8 of the Champions League that former Boca Juniors player shone, making his mark at the club in their historic run to the first Champions League Final appearance of the club.
