Paul Pogba has been in the news recently. The World Cup-winning midfielder has had his doping ban reduced from four years to 18 months.

This has meant that he will be able to return to club football in March. He will not be returning to Juventus which has brought about speculation about what his next club will be.

Con - He has not played for a while

Pogba has not been involved in a football match in 18 months so it remains to be see how he will return to action.

There are question marks regarding how long it will take for him to get match fit and whether he mentality wants to play football.

These are massive dilemmas as if he is not the same player he once was it would have been a gamble that did not pay off.

Pro - Provides experience to a young midfield

Les Parisiens have young midfielders at their disposal such as Warren Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, and Joao Neves. An experienced head like Paul Pogba could be the perfect addition to nurture and improve the younger players.

This could be invaluable in the Champions League when they have to play tougher teams. Even if Pogba doesn't start he can be a good leader in the locker room.

There are reasons for and against bringing the French World Cup winner to PSG. Question marks remain on what condition he will be in when he comes back onto a football field but his experience is priceless. Here at PSG Post, we think they should sign him as it isn't too big of a gamble on a free transfer.
