The French champions are gearing up for their biggest Ligue 1 game of the season when they face Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis. Second-place Lens is currently six points behind PSG after Luis Enrique's side defeated Brest 1-0 on the weekend, courtesy of a Désiré Doué strike with eight minutes left. There was pressure on the defending champions to win as Pierre Sage's side had won 1-0 on Friday, 8th May, against a Nantes side that was already relegated. The title is all but done as Les Parisiens have a superior goal difference (+15). It is difficult to imagine PSG losing both games by a big enough margin that will ensure that Lens can leapfrog at the top.
The last time these two teams met was in September. On that occasion, PSG won 2-0 at the Parc des Princes courtesy of a brace by Bradley Barcola. PSG have won three of their last five games, losing to Lyon at home (1-2) and drawing at home to Lorient (2-2). Lens' form hasn't been great for a side competing for a title. They have won two of their last five games, one of which was a narrow 1-0 win against a struggling Nantes side.
