After securing their place in their second consecutive Champions League final, Paris Saint-Germain is now facing Brest at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 33 of Ligue 1. The Parisians have the opportunity to edge closer to the league title if they win in their last home game of the season, before facing Lens Wednesday.

Following their midweek clash against Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich, Luis Enrique decided to completely change his starting lineup, with nine changes from the team that faced the Bavarians. Only Marquinhos and Fabian Ruiz remained in the starting XI, while Renato Marin makes his second league start this season. Mayulu will feature as full-back while Ramos, Lee and Barcola lead the frontline. Meanwhile, Lucas Beraldo, Fabian Ruiz and Dro Fernandez will compose the midfield trio.

Paris Saint-Germain's starting XI: Renato Marin; Marquinhos, Zabarnyi, Hernandez, Senny Mayulu; Fabian Ruiz, Beraldo, Dro Fernandez; Barcola, Ramos, Kang-In Lee.

Stade Brestois' starting XI: Coudert; Junior Diaz, Le Guen, Guindo, Chotard; Tousart, Doumbia, Magnetti, Dina Ebimbe, Del Castillo; Ajorque.

PSG take down Brest at home

The first big chance of the game came from Lucas Hernandez, the French international's long range strike was remarkably saved by Coudert, preventing the former Bayern Munich player from scoring an unbelivebale goal. The hosts were in complete control of the game in the first 20 minutes and had several situations to open the score. However, the biggest opportunity came when Dro Fernandez found himself in possesion of the ball near the penalty spot, but the spaniard placed his shot just wide of the post despite the massive chance.

Paris Saint-Germain pushed to get the opener in the last 15 minutes of the first half, but met a very well-organised Brest side that left little to no room to their opponents. It was really difficult for Luis Enrique's team to break the deadlock.

With the team struggling to score, Luis Enrique brought in Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, their best offensive players to increase their chances to score and win this crucial game. Shortly after their entrances, both became dangerous, leading to more chances created as Senny Mayulu saw his thunderous effort hit the crossbar.

Désiré Doué finally broke the deadlock with a piece of magic after dribbling past several Brest players to give a crucial lead to his team as they edge closer to the Ligue 1 title (83'). They then comfortably saw out the game to go six points clear of Lens.

Up next, Paris Saint-Germain will face RC Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Wednesday, May 13 to seal the league title if they avoid defeat.
