Here is the PSG vs PSV preview for this week's UEFA Champions League fixture. It features key information such as team news, predicted lineups & how to watch on TV.

Paris Saint-Germain managed to get back on track in their latest fixture against RC Strasbourg in MD8 of Ligue 1, following a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League and a 1-1 draw with OGC Nice in their previous match in the French league.

This has boosted the morale of Luis Enrique’s side as they prepare for MD3 of the prestigious European competition, where they will host PSV.

This is undoubtedly the Parisians' chance to finally position themselves among the top spots in the new league phase of the Champions League, without underestimating their opponent, of course. Girona already gave them a scare, and PSV could do the same.

PSG team news

After a standout international break with France, where he scored both goals in a 2-1 UEFA Nations League triumph over Belgium, Randal Kolo Muani was expected to continue his momentum with PSG. However, he missed the match against Strasbourg due to a sprained ankle.

Although the injury is not serious, there is uncertainty regarding his availability for Tuesday's fixture. Joining him on the sidelines are Goncalo Ramos (ankle), Lucas Hernandez (knee), and Presnel Kimpembe (Achilles), although Kimpembe has recently resumed training.

PSG's regular defenders Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and Achraf Hakimi were rested during the weekend's match after international duty but should return to bolster the squad. Meanwhile, 18-year-old midfielder Senny Mayulu, who found the net in the previous game, may have to make way for the returning stars.

Predicted PSG lineup vs PSV: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Neves; Dembele, Asensio, Barcola.

PSV team news

PSV are facing a difficult challenge ahead of their match at the Parc des Princes, as key midfielder Schouten will be out for several months due to a knee injury. This comes on top of the absence of Joey Veerman, who is sidelined with a groin injury.

Additionally, Sergino Dest (knee) and Hirving Lozano (muscle) are unlikely to feature. With both Schouten and Veerman unavailable, PSV are lacking in midfield strength. Malik Tillman is expected to fill Schouten’s role on Tuesday, unless Bosz opts for the more traditional Tygo Land, 18, in central midfield.

Predicted PSV lineup vs PSG: Benitez; Karsdorp, Flamingo, Boscagli, Junior; Til, Saibari, Tillman; Bakayoko, De Jong, Lang.
