PSG are preparing for their 11th Ligue 1 game of the season when they host Nice . Luis Enrique's side needs to improve fast ahead of their mammoth Champions League encounter against Bayern Munich next week as they were held to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday against a struggling Lorient side. Nuno Mendes put the French champions 0-1 up early in the second half before Igor Carioca equalised for Lorient minutes later. They remain top as Lens lost against Metz and Marseille had drawn against Angers. If they play like that against Bayern Munich next week they won't win.
The draw against Nice should give the side a wake up call as they now know that they shouldn't take any side for granted or they will get beaten. Mid-table Nice won on Wednesday against LOSC Lille which has left them level on points with Les Dogues. Both sides are competing for a place in a Europe. If Lille get Champions League football they will attract better players in the summer transfer window. Nice will also attract better players if they get Champions League football. They will need to do better in Europe as they have lost all of their games in the Europa League.

PSG team news:
The French champions will not have their strongest starting eleven for the game against Nice. Fabian Ruiz (sore hip) , Achraf Hakimi (knock) and Désiré Doué (muscle injury) will be out of action for the weekend. Despite this, they should still have a strong enough team to get three points against Nice.
Paris Saint Germain possible starting lineup:
Chevalier; Marquinhos, Pacho, Beraldo, Mendes; Mayulu, Vitinha, Neves; Barcola, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia
Nice team news:
Nice are also dealing with injuries ahead of there trip to the capital on the weekend. Moise Bombito (lower leg fracture), Gabin Bernardeau (knock) , Terem Moffi (calf strain) and Jonathan Clauss (knee) are just a handful of names that won't trip to Paris.
Nice possible starting lineup:
Diouf; Mendy, Bah, Oppong; Gouveia, Boudaoui, Ndombele, Bard; Diop, Carlos, Jansson
Prediction: PSG 2-2 Nice
The French champions form has not been great in the league and with an eye on the game against Bayern on Tuesday it is difficult to see them being fully focused. Don't be surprised if Nice come away with a point given that their form in the league has improved recently.
