In just two days, Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are set to battle in the Champions League final at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. It is therefore the perfect time for our combined XI of the best two teams in Europe.
Combined XI ahead of PSG vs Arsenal in the Champions League final
GK: David Raya - The Spaniard is in excellent form and is currently the best goalkeeper in Europe and has managed a ridiculous amount of clean sheets this season.
RB: Achraf Hakimi - Both Jurrien Timber and Achraf Hakimi have recently made their return to training and could make it into this combined XI. However, it is the Moroccan who made the cut.
CB: William Saliba - The Frenchman is already one of the best at his position and edged PSG captain Marquinhos for his spot in this squad.
CB: Willian Pacho - The Ecuadorian is the perfect option. He could have been overtaken by Gabriel or even partner him. Nonetheless, Pacho has been a crucial piece of a team that managed two consecutive trip to the Champions League final.
LB: Nuno Mendes - While Calafiori is a good option, the best option remains Nuno Mendes for the left-back position as he is perfect when it comes to lock down the opposite winger and bring danger when going forward.
CDM: Vitinha - While Martin Zubimendi is impressive, Vitinha is simply at another level. He is by far the best at his position in the world and the leader of the best midfield in Europe.
CM: Declan Rice - The Englishman is the best midfielder of this team, one of their playmaker, their set piece taker and more. His importance for Arsenal cannot be understated and he could be a pivotal part in the final.
CM: Joao Neves - This position was certainly the hardest to fill, with many choices available such as Warren Zaire-Emery, Fabian Ruiz, Martin Odegaard or Eberechi Eze. Ultimately, Joao Neves prevailed and will be a prominent part of this upcoming final.
LW: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - The Georgian is clearly the best left winger in the world at the moment, nothing seems enough to stop him, in addition, he gives everything for his team on both ends of the pitch. For Arsenal, neither Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard hold a candle to him.
RW: Désiré Doué - The 2025 Golden Boy edges Bukayo Saka for this position, his technical abilities combined to his great work rate make him a crucial player for PSG. Furthermore, he is way more lethal in front of goals than the Englishman.
ST: Ousmane Dembélé - The 2025 Ballon d'Or is the obvious choice at this position, while his Ligue 1 Player of the season award may be controvertial, he remains a lethal force offensively for his team as many opponents fear him. Compared to him, Viktor Gyokeres is far behind despite scoring 20 goals in his debut season with the Gunners.
