PSG drew 1-1 with PSV on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes, missing the chance to secure points and move to the top of the Champions League table.

Paris Saint-Germain got back on track with a win over RC Strasbourg in Ligue 1's Matchday 8, following their 2-0 loss to Arsenal in the Champions League and a 1-1 draw with OGC Nice in the league.

That victory gave Luis Enrique’s side a much-needed morale boost as they prepared for Matchday 3 of the Champions League, where they hosted PSV.

It was a key opportunity for PSG to establish themselves among the top contenders in the new league phase, though they remained cautious, knowing PSV, like Girona before, could pose a serious threat.
