Who is in the PSG predicted lineup for the game vs. RC Lens?
By Manuel Meza
This Saturday, August 26, PSG receives RC Lens in the Parc des Princes, on the occasion of MD3 of the French championship. The team from the French capital will seek, against the runner-up in France last season, to certify their first victory of the 2023-2024 season.
On the eve of the game, it is already possible to predict who will be the starting XI of the cast led by Luis Enrique. Having come on from the bench in the 1-1 draw against Toulouse, Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele obviously promise to be the most outstanding novelties in the possible Parisian lineup.
There is no doubt that the starting goalkeeper will be Gianluigi Donnarumma. In defense, the Spanish strategist is expected to repeat the line with Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Milan Skriniar, and Lucas Hernandez from right to left. After the non-call of Marco Verratti was made official, again, we estimate that the midfield will be led by Warren Zaire-Emery, Manuel Ugarte, and Vitinha.
In attack, there is an important doubt. In the recent medical report published by PSG, the name of Goncalo Ramos appears, who suffered from muscular discomfort. Although it does not seem to be a serious injury, as reported by L'Equipe, a final decision will be made this Saturday morning, depending on how the Portuguese feel.
In case he is not suitable, we could see Hugo Ekitike again as a starter. It is well known that the young Frenchman is liked by Luis Enrique, although neither could we rule out seeing Marco Asensio assume the role of "false 9".
PSG's predicted starting XI vs. RC Lens: Donnarumma - Hakimi, Marquinhos (c), Skriniar, Hernandez - Zaire-Emery, Ugarte, Vitinha - Dembele, Ramos (or Ekitike), Mbappe.
