PSG vs. RC Lens: How and where to watch, preview, lineups and prediction
By Manuel Meza
This Saturday, August 26, PSG receives RC Lens in the Parc des Princes, on the occasion of MD3 of Ligue 1. The only two French clubs that will play the 2023-2024 edition of the UEFA Champions League face each other, in a game marked by what for many will be Kylian Mbappe's last game with the Parisian team.
Although the player himself has declared on multiple occasions his intention to stay in Paris this season, the rumors and theories surrounding his future have not stopped since then, and the international press expects some kind of announcement from Mbappe before or after this game. What is certain is that those led by Luis Enrique will seek to certify their first victory of the season against the second place in Ligue 1 2022-2023.

PSG's situation
PSG will have to deal with the loss due to injury of Kang-In Lee who seemed destined to occupy a position in the Parisian midfield according to the latest indiscretions in the French press. However, after being introduced in the second half of the last match against Toulouse (1-1), Luis Enrique will surely have the advantage of fielding Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele as starters, which could boost Paris' offensive plot.
As we explained at the beginning of this article, there is an expectation that Kylian Mbappe could make an announcement about his future closer to the end or start of this match. Nothing has been confirmed, but it will surely be an additional reason to keep an eye on this PSG vs. Lens.
RC Lens' situation
RC Lens will be the only team accompanying PSG this season in the UEFA Champions League. After losing very important pieces in their system such as Seko Fofana or Lois Openda, the northern team has strengthened itself in several lines, highlighting above all the recent incorporation of Elye Wahi, in exchange for 35 million euros. The young attacker was the object of desire for clubs in the Premier League, Bundesliga, and even PSG itself. We'll see if they have what it takes to complicate life for the Parisians.
