PSG are actively pursuing three new additions: the main focus is on securing Randal Kolo Muani, the pursuit of Lyon's Bradley Barcola remains significant, and additionally, recent reports from FootMercato have indicated PSG's potential interest in Elye Wahi.

A 21-year-old forward currently under contract at Montpellier, Wahi impressed with a remarkable performance in the 2022-23 season, netting 19 goals in Ligue 1 play for the French side.

That breakout campaign has turned Elye Wahi into a coveted target for several European clubs, including PSG. Most of those organizations consider Wahi "a rising star in French football."

If PSG want to sign the promising youngster, they're reportedly going to face competition from Chelsea, West Ham, and Eintracht Frankfurt. Furthermore, recent reports also suggest that Lens has joined the race for the signature of the wunderkind.

Lens, in fact, has come in strong trying to secure the signing of someone that can replace Lois Openda after his departure earlier this summer.

Signing Wahi won't be cheap, though, as Montpellier has been demanding a figure in "ranging from €30 to €35m."

Such a large fee, though, could make things easier for PSG to land the young forward, as some teams such as Lens or Frankfurt might find it hard to pay that amount of money for an unproven player this early in his career, let alone having limited financial resources.
