Defenders: Nuno Mendes, Sergio Ramos, Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi

Juan Bernat fell off the gameday squad yesterday but Sergio Ramos was confirmed to be back. You can smell what is going to happen from your comfortable sofa, can't you?

PSG have struggled mightily amid a rash of injuries affecting their defensive line. Slowly but surely, warm bodies are getting available once more starting with Marquinhos last weekend and Ramos on Saturday.

Makeshift-CB Danilo is also fit and available, so that makes it at least three viable options for Galtier to use in the center of the defensive line.

They will sell you the stupid 3-5-2 formation with three CBs, and that might actually be how they shape up on the pitch at least to the naked eye, but Danilo is midfielder, full stop. The trio of Marquinhos, Ramos, and Danilo is a lock to be on the pitch from the get-go, nonetheless.

Bernat and Nordi Mukiele are out, which means that Nuno Mendes (left) and Achraf Hakimi (right) will be the starting wing-backs against Nice. Not that the former two being available would have changed that, but still.

El-Chadaille Bitshiabu will be the only natural defender on the bench, mind you.
