After almost two months, Christophe Galtier will soon be able to count on all the members of the 'MNM' again. Kylian Mbappe was the first to arrive from Qatar. Neymar followed him a week later. Messi took the most time off but he landed in Paris at the start of January. All three players are finally available to play for PSG.
Le Parisien reported on Monday that Kylian Mbappe, who had been entitled to a few days of vacation after his premature return from the 2022 World Cup (he went to the East Coast of the United States before staying in Morocco, as well as his friend and teammate Achraf Hakimi), must return to the pitches of Ligue 1 on Sunday, on the pitch of Rennes.
The same for Achraf Hakimi, suspended for the reception of Angers this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes. Hakimi will return to Camp des Loges with Mbappe after their week off, but he won't be eligible for the game against Angers on Wednesday no matter his fitness.
The MNM should be together on the pitch for Ligue 1 MD19 next weekend with PSG facing Rennes
While the Bondy native is expected midweek at the Camp des Loges, Argentine world champion Lionel Messi has been training for around a week and he should start against Angers. Wednesday would therefore mark Messi's comeback after winning the World Cup in Qatar.
Neymar, suspended for the match against Lens (1-3) and absent against Châteauroux (3-1) in the French Cup, reappeared on Monday at the training ground of the Rouge et Bleu although he seemed to still be treating his ailing right ankle and is therefore in doubt to make tomorrow's starting XI.
The Brazilian star is expected to play, as well as Leo Messi, on Wednesday for MD18 of Ligue 1, although it is not quite clear how much playing time he'll get against Angers.
And now we just wait for the last member of the infernal trio...
