This is an exciting summer for football fans with the Euros kicking off in two days and the Copa America beginning the following week.

The two favorites coming into the tournament are England and France. Both are favourites for very good reason as they have the best two squads in the game. If France ends up winning the Euros it could build up confidence for some PSG players ahead of next season.

Here at PSG Post we explain why a Les Bleus success in Germany will be huge for PSG.

What France winning the Euros would mean for PSG

It will build up players confidence

PSG had a difficult back end to the season stumbling at the semi-final stage in the Champions League to Borussia Dortmund. The French champions also had to deal with the fallout from the Mbappe to Real Madrid transfer saga.

There are four PSG players in the France squad who the heartbreak of the Champions League disappointment will still affect. If Randal Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembele, Warren Zaire-Emery, and Bradley Barcola perform at the Euros and help lead France to victory it could do their confidence the world of good ahead of next season.

They will sign more French players

PSG have recently started to sign more French players and promote from within. At the beginning of the Qatari reign, they turned a blind eye to signing players of that nationality.

Recently the tide has turned as last summer they had signed Lucas Hernandez, Randal Kolo Muani, and Bradley Barcola whilst promoting Zaire-Emery. This is significant as they usually opt to sign galaticos such as Lionel Messi and Neymar. If France end up winning in Germany there will be even more of an incentive to continue this trend of signing more French players and promoting from within.
