PSG manager Christophe Galtier has his days in the French capital numbered. The Emir of Qatar would love to land Zinedine Zidane next summer to coach his team but that might be difficult. PSG have already identified a familiar alternative to replace Galtier: the return of Thomas Tuchel.

According to RMC Sport, in a note published on Thursday, "Galtier's situation at PSG has weakened with the club's three straight defeats." This situation has already led PSG to identify replacements for the coach ahead of next season.

RMC Sport guarantees that Galtier "will lead the team at least until the second leg (of the Champions League Round of 16) against Bayern on March 8." They go on to say that "after that date, anything can happen if PSG don't advance."

Thomas Tuchel would coach PSG next season if the Emir of Qatar can't convince Zinedine Zidane

On Tuesday, when PSG hosted Bayern at the Parc des Princes, the president of Paris Saint-Germain and the owner of Chelsea (Todd Boehly), met for lunch and discussed multiple topics including the potential sale of Neymar to the Premier League club.

Between those topics, there could have been a brief discussion about Thomas Tuchel, who started the season at Chelsea before getting fired and replaced by Graham Potter at the helm of the London-based team.

While it is widely known that the Emir of Qatar would love and prefer to have Zidane as the next manager of PSG, the French World Cup champion and multi-time Champions League winner at Real Madrid might reject the offer.

The alternative for PSG when they inevitably fire Galtier next summer will be a familiar face that already coached in the capital just a couple of years ago: German Champions League-winning coach Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel, according to RMC Sport, "has supporters at PSG" and he was let go mostly because of his "deteriorating relationship with Leonardo." The old-times sporting director is no longer in Paris, which should make things easier for a potential Tuchel comeback.

If we're honest, pretty much any manager arriving in Paris to coach PSG next season will do better than Galtier, so we are 100% rooting for Zidane, Tuchel, or the first name that pops up in your head to come to the capital. Fire Galtier already, and everything will get much better.
