PSG Women's key players join Juventus

PSG Women’s transfer market is in full swing. Two players, Amalie Vangsgaard and Viola Calligaris, are leaving the club for Juventus Turin.

The PSG Women’s squad will likely change significantly during this summer transfer window. The capital club, which will have a new coach, Fabrice Abriel, saw its best player from last season, Tabitha Chawinga, join their rival Olympique Lyonnais.

They also lost Sandy Baltimore to Chelsea. The English club is also expected to sign Oriane Jean-Francois, while Constance Picaud is set to join Fleury.

On the arrivals front, PSG Women made two significant moves by signing Mary Earps, considered the best goalkeeper in the world, and Griedge Mbock. This Sunday, the capital club confirmed the departure of two more players.

PSG Women's key players join Juventus

Viola Calligaris, who was loaned to Juventus Turin last winter, will remain with the Italian club, where she played fifteen matches. The Swiss defender, who joined PSG Women in the summer of 2023, played eight matches with the Rouge & Bleu.

Juventus is also acquiring the services of Amalie Vangsgaard. The Danish forward, who arrived in January 2023, never managed to establish herself as a regular starter at PSG Women. She played 48 matches across all competitions, scoring ten goals and providing two assists.

During her year and a half at PSG, she won the 2024 Coupe de France. Finally, the capital club confirmed the signing of Tara Elimbi Gilbert’s first professional contract until June 2027. The defender played 13 matches with the professional team last season.
