For the 24/25 season, each team in the Ligue 1 will play 34 matches, as 18 teams vie for the coveted title. Many will attempt to dethrone PSG, who have dominated the French competition for the past four years.
Highlighted within this calendar is PSG's opening fixture on August 18th against Le Havre, away from home. The season will conclude for PSG on May 18th, facing newly-promoted AJ Auxerre at the Parc des Princes.
Of particular note are key matchdays for PSG, featuring some of Ligue 1's most highly anticipated encounters, including Le Classique and other challenging fixtures:
- PSG vs Lille (September 1st and March 2nd)
- PSG vs Olympique de Marseille (October 27th and March 16th)
- PSG vs Olympique Lyonnais (December 15th and February 23rd)
- PSG vs AS Monaco (January 5th and February 9th)

This season will see the introduction of a new French tournament, where both its name and trophy will undergo complete changes, marking the beginning of a new era for the Ligue 1 McDonald’s. Consequently, it will be a constant battle to claim the first championship of Ligue 1 in this new era, where innovation is expected to be greater in presenting the trophy.
At the moment, PSG remains inactive in the transfer window, but an important announcement from the club is expected soon, breaking the market as it has accustomed the soccer world to do.
