Integrated into PSG's "loft" this summer, Ismael Gharbi could continue his career in Portugal during the 2024-2025 season.
While PSG is considering strengthening its offensive sector in the final days of the transfer window, the Parisian board also aims to trim its squad, starting with the players in the loft. This situation involves Ismael Gharbi.
After a promising 2023-2024 season with Stade-Lausanne in Switzerland (7 goals and 6 assists in 31 matches across all competitions), the 20-year-old Titi needs to find an exit in the final days of the transfer window. Still under contract with the Rouge & Bleu until June 2025, the attacking midfielder now sees a great opportunity ahead of him.

PSG's Gharbi eyes Portugal move amid loan talks
Indeed, according to Foot Mercato, SC Braga is very interested in acquiring the Spanish U19 international on loan. As a friendly club to PSG (QSI holding 21.67% of Braga's shares), the Portuguese club already secured the loan of Cher Ndour this winter without a purchase option and could do the same with Ismael Gharbi this summer.
While the Parisian club has always shown confidence in its young player, his immediate future does not seem to lie with the Rouge & Bleu. "However, it's worth noting that in case of a departure, the capital club wants to include a buy-back clause to retain control" FM notes. The Parisian board views a loan move for their 1.73m midfielder favorably. Now, Braga will need to convince Ismaël Gharbi to join the Portuguese league and also find common ground with PSG.
