Benfica is being demanded in this deal, seeking to receive 120 million euros for their young star. Having made him their priority for midfield reinforcement, PSG would like to include players such as Renato Sanches and Carlos Soler to reduce the price.
This Sunday, Fabrizio Romano provided an update on this matter. He explained that Manchester United, Manchester City, and Arsenal have sent scouts to Portugal multiple times to observe Joao Neves. However, the club that has been most active in this pursuit is PSG.

The transfer market expert indicated that PSG's management has already contacted the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, with whom they have a very good relationship. Fabrizio Romano states that PSG will push hard after the Euro to reach an agreement with SL Benfica for Joao Neves.
Even though the Lisbon club hopes to keep their player, they will let him go if a club offers 120 million euros, the amount of his release clause. Fabrizio Romano concludes by explaining that PSG sees the same potential in Neves as they did in Vitinha.
