The only certainty is that Gianluigi Donnarumma, who injured his right thigh against Brest, will miss this match and will likely be replaced by Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov, who has not yet made an official appearance for PSG. In defence, the Marquinhos/Pacho partnership is expected after being rested at the start against Brest. Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes will handle the flanks.
Vitinha, who was injured with Portugal during the break, participated in the full PSG training session on Monday and could make his return to the starting eleven according to French media, in a number six role. Warren Zaire-Emery, who returned partially to training on Sunday after a calf injury during the break, also participated partially in the collective session on Monday and should return to the squad.
The French midfielder will compete with Fabian Ruiz for the relay role according to L'Equipe and Le Parisien, who see Joao Neves completing the trio. Up front, no surprises are expected. Ousmane Dembele should play on the right wing, with Marco Asensio as a false nine and Bradley Barcola on the left.
