The case of Leny Yoro has quickly slipped away from PSG. The player's desire to join Real Madrid has stalled the efforts of the Parisian club, though they don't seem entirely discouraged.

In their search for defensive reinforcements, PSG has had Leny Yoro on their radar for several months. With the player entering his last year of contract with LOSC, the possibility was highly appealing to the followers and supporters of the capital club.

However, a problem soon arose: the player's intention. The 18-year-old French defender has expressed his wish to join Real Madrid this summer. This remains his priority as he waits for an agreement between the Spanish and European champions and the Lille management.

According to transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano, Yoro has made it clear that he will not extend his contract with LOSC. If Lille wants to receive a fee, the deal must be completed in the coming weeks. Under contract with LOSC until June 2025, the market value of the Saint-Maurice native is 50 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.

However, there is still a glimmer of hope for Paris Saint-Germain. In his latest update on Leny Yoro's case, Fabrizio Romano notes that PSG remains on the lookout in case negotiations between LOSC and Real Madrid fail. Liverpool is also in a waiting position.

Although Yoro's preference is to join Real Madrid, PSG has not entirely abandoned the possibility of signing him and remains vigilant, hoping for an opportunity if the discussions between Lille and the Madrid club fall through.
