British journalist Duncan Castles said PSG has offered a contract extension to the 24-year-old Portuguese, whose current deal runs until June 2027.

After a challenging first season, the former FC Porto player has established himself under Luis Enrique's guidance, becoming an indispensable starter in PSG's midfield. Continuing his strong form from the 2023/2024 season, Vitinha went on to play in Euro 2024 with Portugal, where the PSG number 17 showcased his talent across Europe.

According to Duncan Castles, Pep Guardiola has also been impressed. The Spanish tactician of Manchester City reportedly admires Vitinha, particularly for his ability to excel in all three midfield roles at the highest level.
