PSG forward speaks out amid Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund links

Paris Saint-Germain made a surprising move at the end of the 2023 summer transfer window by signing Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt for a fee of around €90 million, figures fitting for a superstar forward. However, many felt he underperformed in his first season in the Rouge & Bleu shirt.
As expected, multiple rumours circulated last summer linking Kolo Muani with a departure from PSG. Yet, the 25-year-old Frenchman remains in the Parisian squad and has already scored two goals this season, despite not starting a single match.
Following PSG’s recent 3-1 victory over Brest at the Parc des Princes, Randal was asked about his current situation and the summer rumours. "I’ve regained my smile, both with PSG and France," the forward said (h/t ParisFans.fr), before addressing the reports of him leaving Paris: "I didn’t hear any rumours; they didn’t reach me. I’ve just arrived and still have things to prove."

Kolo Muani made it clear that "it’s up to me to keep working," and from his perspective, everything is in order. It’s refreshing to see that players like him have a strong mindset, as many often develop significant self-doubt, especially after being exposed to the high expectations surrounding their hefty transfer fees, which can impact their form.
Luis Enrique and Luis Campos have also expressed their satisfaction with PSG’s attacking options, hinting that they don’t need any more forwards beyond Randal Kolo Muani, Bradley Barcola, Gonçalo Ramos, Marco Asensio, and the others.
Kolo Muani was most recently linked to Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, a league he knows very well. Additionally, he was frequently mentioned in connection with Napoli, although this gained traction mainly due to PSG's alleged interest in signing Victor Osimhen, who unexpectedly ended up being loaned to Galatasaray in Turkey.
