At the start, the Stade Rennais player was on the bench and entered the game in the 72nd minute, replacing Michael Olise. In the stands and around the stadium, there were French supporters but not only that.

Some PSG fans were present, including one with a clear message for Desire Doue: "Sign with PSG, please," written on a sign outside the stadium. The 19-year-old player, still under contract with Stade Rennais until June 2026, approached the fans, signed the sign, and took a photo with the PSG fan, all smiles.

To recall, PSG officials have made an offer to their counterparts in Brittany for Desire Doue, amounting to 45 million euros including bonuses. This offer is higher than Bayern Munich's, PSG's main competitor in the deal, and is unlikely to be the only one. According to the latest information from Loic Tanzi, PSG is expected to make a new offer in the coming hours.

While Desire Doue's departure from Stade Rennais seems imminent, the player's decision remains unknown at this stage of the transfer window. Additionally, some reports suggest a resolution before the start of the Olympics, for which the French attacking midfielder is engaged under the guidance of Thierry Henry.
