The Paris Saint-Germain team opened their Ligue 1 campaign on a high note with a victory over Le Havre, despite a few tense moments during the match. Almost three months after their last official game, PSG returned to league action on Friday night, eager to defend their title.
The match started with a bang as Kang-in Lee scored early, finishing off a beautiful team move in just the second minute (1-0). However, after taking the lead, PSG seemed to ease off the gas, allowing Le Havre to gain confidence and create several chances.

Le Havre's persistence paid off early in the second half when Lloris leveled the score (1-1, 48th minute). The home side even thought they had taken the lead with a second goal, but it was disallowed due to a handball.
PSG needed a spark, and they got it from their substitutes. The introductions of Ousmane Dembele and Bradley Barcola provided the necessary boost, with both players finding the back of the net to give PSG a comfortable lead. Randal Kolo Muani then sealed the win with a penalty, making it 4-1.
After the game, Joao Neves, who assisted two of the goals, shared his thoughts on the victory and his debut with PSG in an interview with DAZN. "It was a great start to the season, and I'm very happy to be here. I hope to continue helping the team," said Neves. "Involved in two goals? Yes, but the most important thing is the team, and that's always how it will be for me. I'm here to help the team. The most positive thing I saw from the team? I think it’s the individual quality and the collective effort."
