PSG has confirmed they will not participate in the China tour as previously scheduled for July, citing various factors directly influencing the exhausting player schedule.

Last season was one of the most significant in the club's history, but it was also one of the most competitive for the players. For this reason, PSG doesn't see it as a good idea to travel to China for preseason, prioritizing player fitness for the upcoming season.

In addition to last season's workload, this year sees international competitions, with PSG providing many players for the Copa America, EURO, and potentially the Olympics. However, it's estimated that none of the Parisians will participate in the Olympics.

PSG Prepares for the 24/25 Season

All signs indicate that PSG will only travel to China on August 8th to compete in the Champions Trophy against AS Monaco. As for the return to training, PSG plans to resume on July 15th, with international players receiving an extra week of rest depending on their tournament progress.

Decisions regarding the Parisian club for the 2024/2025 season are still being made, with canceling the China tour being considered one of the wisest moves to continue prioritizing player well-being and reducing the competitive burden.

In this transfer window, PSG hasn't been the most active club in rumors. While the anticipated big-name signings have been slow to materialize (Xavi Simons, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Leny Yoro), expectations remain high for Luis Campos's management to surprise in the coming weeks.
